La Jolla Mural

A project of the Athenaeum, initiated by the La Jolla Community Foundation and funded by private donations, La Jolla Murals commissions artists to propose the installation of an image on specific walls on privately owned buildings. Bill 2, 2019, installed at 7540 Fay Avenue in May 2019, takes the form of a 48 ft. wide by 15 ft. tall billboard. The image was printed on vinyl, framed with a brushed aluminum border, and will be on view for 2 years.
